Poor Google Rankings Are Not Your Fault

I have a contact who once worked for Google.

He accidentally revealed to me the exact reason WHY it has become almost impossible for small websites to rank on Page 1 of Google…

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) component of Google’s algorithm has become clever enough to figure out what a website is about without the help of SEO.

To make matters worse, Google’s AI’s algorithm are very human-like.

Google denies this.

But a Google insider says it is true.

And he has been made to pay the price by Google.

For instance, the first article below was published very recently (June, 2022) in the Washington Post.

It talks about the of Google’s AI algorithms (the one used in its chatbot).

This algorithm is able to impersonate humans.

The next article (in the New York Times) talks about the Engineer who was suspended after exposing the human emotions of one of Google’s AI algorithms.

The Good News is that you can use this information to understand why it has become very difficult to rank in Google using traditional SEO strategies.

Basically…

Google’s Search AI has been trained to reason and behave like a teenager.

Teenagers don’t like to be told what to do.

Teenagers become unhappy when they are told what to do.

Teenagers throw tantrums when they are unhappy.

So, when Google’s algorithm thinks you are using SEO to give it instructions – it throws a teenage tantrum!

The results of Google’s tantrums are unpredictable.

The tantrums are often unpleasant, and…

They are often worse for small websites.

This is the main reason why traditional SEO (including white-hat SEO) no longer works as well as it used to for small websites.

So, stop blaming yourself… OK?

My contact then went on to tell me exactly WHAT the Google algorithm actually wants people to do to their webpages.

In a nutshell…

You Don’t Need Lots of Content!

Google wants webpages to contain content that will make people addicted to Google.

That’s all.

It’s that simple.

If your website is filled with content that will make people addicted to Google then they will reward your website with Page 1 rankings.

This will happen even if your website has no authority.

This will happen especially if your website is a tiny website.

This will happen even if your website is ugly.

The million dollar question is:

What kind of content makes people addicted to Google?

The best way to describe it is seductive content.

Seductive content is content which draws visitors in, completely entices them and leaves them gasping for more of the same type of content.

So, the visitors then go back to Google to look for more.

The information on your website has to be of such good quality that it entices searchers to consume all the information on the entire site in just one or two visits.

This means that the “dwell time” or “time on site” of your website need to be extremely high.

Many gurus disagree with the statement above.

They even claim that Google has said it’s not one of the ranking factors.

Well… I learned a long time ago not to believe what Google says.

Instead I follow the data.

And… I’ve learned to believe the data.

I suggest you do the same.

Anyway, take a look at the charts below and then decide who to believe.

(The two charts above are from Backlinko.com)

I don’t want to overwhelm you with data, so I’ll stop here.

The important thing you need to know is that there’s a special way to achieve such a high dwell time (higher than 2.5 minutes).

It involves the techniques of a legendary Italian and womaniser.

His name was Giacomo Casanova.

Applying Casanova’s techniques to your website – will make Google infatuated with your website.

Google will then reciprocate by rewarding your website with Page 1 rankings, and…

When your website is on Page 1 of Google – visitors to your website will go back to Google to search for more of the information they found on your website.

This phenomenon is called Search Reciprocity, because…

When people go back to search for more information, Google makes more money (for shareholders) from Google Ads.

It becomes a win-win situation.

A win for your website.

And a win for Google. 🙂

So, Search Reciprocity is the unofficial Google-approved way to rank on Page 1 of Google with a tiny website, which has as little as 14 pages of content.

When people visit large websites from Google, they usually don’t go back to Google to search for more information.

The reason for this is that large websites have lots of content, and…

When people finish consuming this content, they usually move on to something else instead of going back to Google.

This is why Search Reciprocity works better for tiny websites than for large websites, and…

Search Reciprocity is such a massive game changer that I decided to come out of retirement and share this information.

So, in the next part of this guide…

I’ll share what I believe is the easiest way you can use Search Reciprocity to rank your own tiny websites on Page 1 of Google.
