Internet Marketing Is Stealing Your Sales

Some people belive that Internet Marketing is a scam.

I disagree with these people.

However, I will say that Internet Marketing distracts serious business owners from real profit-generating activities such as selling.

This is why I say that… if you are involved in any kind of Internet Marketing – then it is stealing your sales, and…

This is the only reason you are not making 70 or more sales a day. PERIOD!

Let me illustrate with three quick examples.

The first example is people who try to generate traffic with SEO.

These people start out by doing keyword research. Then they have to write page upon pages of content for their website. They also have to optimize the website by building backlinks.

These tasks take an awfully lot of time to complete.

And yet, after all the time spent on the SEO tasks, people still have to wait a criminally long period of time for their websites to rank on Google.

For most of them, their websites never even make it to Page 1 of Google. This means all that time was a huge waste, because zero traffic visits their websites.

That time could be better spent selling directly to people who have already indicated that they want to buy the products they have to sell.

Alternatively, some people prefer to save time by using paid traffic instead of SEO.

After putting a sales funnel together, such people will routinely spend upwards of $100 a day driving traffic to the funnel. They then have to optimize the funnel in an attempt to make it profitable.

This usually requires a huge investment of money.

However, in many cases, the sales funnels never become profitable in spite of all the money spent.

That money could be better spent on products that are in high demand so that the same products can be sold for profit to people who have already indicated that they want to buy these products.

A third example is when people invest significant resources into learning elaborate email marketing techniques.

Then when they send emails to their list – usually less than 10% of people on the list open the email; and of that 10% only about 20% will click the link to the sales page; and of that 20% – less than 5% will actually buy the product for sale.

These resources could be better invested into mastering techniques that help identify the optimal time to sell to people who have already indicated that they want to buy the products they have to sell.

Btw… I have been guilty of all three of the above misdemeanours. 🙁

So, please don’t beat yourself up for jumping on the Internet Marketing bandwagon. We are all guilty!
